Another manufacturing firm is leaving the UK.
The Philips Avent factory in Glemsford Suffolk has announce on Thursday its decision to close the Avent factory which produces baby products. The facility is relocating most of its facilities to Drachten in the Netherlands, and some to Indonesia.
Regardless of Brexit, it was one of a number of reasons for the closure for the factory, which exports the majority of its products.
Yet another manufacturing company leaving the UK and adding to the growing number of job losses. These jobs will not be coming back even if the UK remains in the EU.
The area around Glemsford voted 55% to 45% to leave the European Union. Almost certain that nobody thought that jobs would lost because of the referendum. It is the same in other parts of the country, businesses that export must decide where to base production to minimise costs.
